In May 2016, Yantai Xinyun International Logistics Co., Ltd. was invited to participate in a large modular sea-land intermodal transportation project. Through efficient service quality in the early packaging and transportation project, as well as our experience in transporting large equipment, our company successfully won the bid. This project involved a total of 8 transportation modules, each approximately 8.5 meters wide, 9 meters high, and weighing about 200 tons. Due to the large weight and volume of the modules, SPMT axle line vehicles were used for land transportation. After the modules arrived at the port, our professionals coordinated the lifting, binding, and reinforcement of the modules throughout the process, ensuring they were safely transported to the destination on May 30.

From November 2015 to May 2016, Yantai Xinyun International Logistics Co., Ltd. and Yantai CIMC Raffles Offshore Engineering Co., Ltd. jointly completed the maintenance and delivery of two large semi-submersible drilling platforms (Polaris and Aurora) for the Russian Gas Group. These two sister platforms are mainly used for oil and gas extraction work in the harsh climatic conditions of the Arctic region, capable of withstanding giant waves up to 32 meters high and conducting exploration and drilling at depths of 70-500 meters underwater. They will be used for the extraction work of the large Shtokman gas field, which will become a source of Russian pipeline natural gas for countries in the Atlantic region.

The cargo handled by our company’s agent, Dalian Shipbuilding Heavy Industry, needs to be transported from Dalian Port to Shenzhen Youlian Shipyard on a ship under repair. Since this ship is a foreign vessel, the cargo must be loaded as export goods, so the customer requested to process the export tax refund. Ultimately, with the joint efforts of our company and the Shenzhen customs broker, the cargo was loaded onto a domestic bulk carrier at Dalian Port on March 25 and unloaded at Shenzhen Youlian Shipyard on April 16, completing the export customs declaration work. The completion of this project has provided our company with valuable experience for handling similar cargo in the future.
