As an excellent qualified subcontractor of CNOOC, our company successfully won the bid for the "Brazil Oil P67" project for the towing and docking work at the Qingdao Marine Engineering Shipyard in December 2015 after thorough preparation, a complete technical plan, and a professional team capability amidst fierce competition.

The "Brazil Oil P67" project is a continuation of the construction project for a large offshore floating production storage and offloading unit (FPSO) undertaken by CNOOC for the Brazilian National Oil Company. The P67 vessel is 307.5 meters long, 54 meters wide, and has a depth of 31.5 meters. The hull of the P67 has been basically completed at the Rio Grande shipyard in Brazil, and further construction and installation of the superstructure and equipment are required. The FPSO was towed from the Rio Grande shipyard in Brazil to the Huangdao CNOOC terminal for subsequent construction work over a period of three months. Due to the narrow port waters and operational restrictions, the docking time coincided with the winter season when strong winds prevail, making the sea conditions harsh and the docking extremely difficult and dangerous. With years of experience in operating large drilling platforms in and out of ports, a professional technical team, and thorough communication preparations with the port supervision department and the towing party "Shanghai Salvage Bureau", the FPSO successfully docked at the Qingdao Marine Engineering Shipyard on January 20, 2016, assisted by seven high-power tugboats, saving valuable maintenance time. The work received unanimous recognition from the owner, CNOOC Maintenance Company, Shanghai Salvage Bureau, and the FPSO owner, the Brazilian National Oil Company.

This FPSO "Brazil Oil P67" project involved towing and docking work at the Qingdao Marine Engineering Shipyard. The company made every effort to gather high-quality resources to prepare for the docking, setting a precedent for the docking of large non-powered FPSOs at the Qingdao Marine Engineering terminal. The company will take this service as an opportunity to seize the moment, using superb skills and quality service to consolidate our company's reputation in the industry, and strive to perfectly complete the P67 project's towing work in February 2017.
