Warmly celebrate our company's successful entry of the Russian platform into the port.

　　With 20 years of experience in maritime transport, entrusted by Yantai CIMC Raffles, our company Yantai Xinyun International Logistics undertook the towing work of two large-tonnage semi-submersible platforms, "Polaris" and "Northern Light," from the Yantai oil tanker transshipment anchorage to the Yantai Raffles Wharf in November 2015. Due to the large tonnage and wide width of such platforms, the requirements for draft are high, and the towing area passes through a breeding zone. The port entry plan was also during the winter, when weather conditions are quite variable, which brought many uncertainties and made the towing extremely difficult. In response, our company faced the challenges head-on, leveraging past towing experience to commence work. With the strong assistance of the Yantai Maritime Safety Administration, Yantai Pilot Station, Yantai Tugboat Company, and other units, we organized senior pilot experts to develop a rigorous pilotage plan and commissioned Dalian Maritime University to compile a detailed safety assessment report. We held a port entry safety assurance assessment meeting and allocated the six best high-power tugboats in the Bohai Sea area to ensure the safe towing of the platforms into the port. Due to the time interval between the entry of the two platforms, the entire process took more than 20 days, and we successfully completed the port entry work on November 30, 2015, receiving high praise from Yantai CIMC Raffles. This also accumulated valuable experience for towing such platforms in Yantai Port and even nationwide.
