"CNOOC Services Prosperity" General Contracting Business

　　COSL PROSPECTOR (CNOOC Services Prosperity) is a sixth-generation deepwater semi-submersible drilling platform, built by Yantai CIMC Raffles Offshore Engineering Co., Ltd. for COSL PROSPECTOR single-vessel company, and leased by CNOOC Oilfield Services Co., Ltd. The platform adopts the latest global marine engineering design concepts and meets the strictest global standards. The platform was leased and imported in May 2015, completed four exploration operations in the South China Sea, returned to Yantai shipyard for maintenance and modification, and set sail for Norway at the end of November 2017.

       Our company is entrusted by CNOOC Oilfield Services Co., Ltd. and COSL DRILLING EUROPE to be responsible for all agency work during the maintenance period at Yantai shipyard; Shenzhen port entry and exit ship agency, crew boarding certificate handling during operations, customs inspection for transit in and out of Shenzhen, oily water recovery, platform refueling, material supply, extension of bank guarantee for the platform, handling tax exemption certificates, rent declaration, platform export customs declaration, and other services.

     The "Prosperity" platform sailed from Shenzhen to the North Sea of Norway. According to safety regulations and draft restrictions, the platform's equipment - the riser pipe - needs to be unloaded and transported separately by a bulk carrier, while the platform sails autonomously to Norway. To this end, our company proposed a plan to use a domestic barge to dock with the platform and unload the riser pipe. After a series of technical approvals, it was immediately adopted by the owner and successfully unloaded the riser pipe at the dock. To smoothly complete the export lease termination procedures, our company submitted a customs declaration application for lease termination split tickets to the Shenzhen General Customs. This customs declaration method is the first of its kind in the country, and with strong support from Shenzhen Customs, the platform successfully completed the export customs declaration task.

      Finally, with the full support and cooperation of various port authorities in Shenzhen, the owner, and related agents, the "Prosperity" completed all departure procedures at 17:00 on November 30, 2017, successfully set sail for Norway. Currently, our company has successfully acted as an agent for four semi-submersible drilling platforms, including COSLPIONEER, COSLINNOVATOR, COSLPROMOTER, and COSLPROSPECTOR, and our work has received consistent praise from all owners. We wish the four sister ships shine in the North Sea and create brilliance again!
