Zhi Fu Industrial and Commercial Rectification of the Logistics and Express Delivery Industry

　　As the Spring Festival approaches, the logistics and express delivery industry is experiencing another peak. To regulate the development of this industry, recently, the Yantai Municipal Administration for Industry and Commerce Zhifu Branch conducted a special rectification of the logistics and express delivery industry in its jurisdiction, focusing on investigating the "unfair clauses" in the industry. Currently, 15 illegal logistics operators have been investigated in Zhifu Tun and South Xingfu Road, and 1 Blue Sky Express Department has been shut down.

　　"From the inspection situation, the issue of unfair clauses in the logistics and express delivery industry is very serious," said a responsible person from Zhifu Administration for Industry and Commerce. The unfair clauses in the logistics and express delivery industry are mainly printed directly on the goods consignment note or delivery note in the form of agreed matters, precautions, remarks, etc., while logistics and express delivery operators often exempt themselves from responsibility, increase the responsibility of consumers, and exclude the rights of consumers in the format clauses.

　　Currently, the Zhifu Administration for Industry and Commerce has investigated 15 illegal logistics operators in Zhifu Tun and South Xingfu Road, ordered 8 operators to correct their illegal behaviors, and punished 6 operators who seriously infringed on consumers' legitimate rights and interests using contract format clauses, while shutting down 1 Blue Sky Express Department.

　　In response to the existing problems, the Zhifu Administration for Industry and Commerce has set up administrative guidance stations in markets where the express delivery industry is relatively concentrated, providing legal publicity, consulting services, and assistance in handling consumer disputes for operators and consumers in the responsible areas. On the other hand, they have increased inspection efforts, punishing operators who operate logistics and express delivery without a license and those who use unfair clauses and vague clauses according to laws and regulations, correcting their illegal behaviors.
