Warmly celebrate the successful departure of the "Polaris (Light)" platform, heading to Sakhalin Island!

　　From November 2015 to May 2016, Yantai Xinyun International Logistics Co., Ltd. collaborated with Yantai CIMC Raffles Offshore Engineering Co., Ltd. to complete the maintenance and delivery of two large semi-submersible drilling platforms (Polaris and Aurora) for the Russian Gas Group.

　　These two sister platforms are mainly used for oil and gas extraction in harsh climatic conditions in the extreme north, capable of withstanding giant waves up to 32 meters high, and can conduct exploration and drilling at depths of 70-500 meters underwater. They will be used for the extraction of the large Shtokman gas field, which will become a raw material base for supplying Russian pipeline natural gas and liquefied natural gas to countries in the Atlantic region.

　　Our company is responsible for the port operations of the "Polaris" and "Aurora" drilling platforms, as well as all daily services and agency work for the vessels, crew, and Russian gas personnel during the maintenance period at CIMC Raffles.
