The "Ocean Oil 162" trial production platform successfully departed from the port.

　　Entrusted by Shengli Shipbuilding, our company successfully departed the "Ocean Oil 162" trial production platform from Yantai Zhongji Lafitte Dock on the afternoon of April 24, 2017, heading towards the Caofeidian WHPD platform for precise positioning operations.

　　The "Ocean Oil 162" is independently developed and built by Yantai Zhongji Lafitte, and is a four-legged offshore self-elevating repair and drilling platform. The platform is 62 meters long, 37 meters wide, operates at a water depth of 40 meters, and is classified by the China Classification Society. Four legs, each 73 meters high, support its massive weight of nearly 7,000 tons, equivalent to a 26-story building standing on the sea.

　　After accepting the commission from Shengli Shipbuilding, our company immediately began the relevant preparatory work. Before the platform's departure, we coordinated and completed the pilotage plan, towing positioning plan, towing safety assessment, underwater and surface operation permits, navigation warnings, and tugboat coordination. At the same time, due to the variable weather before operations, our personnel monitored the weather conditions on-site in real-time, communicated and coordinated promptly, ultimately ensuring the platform departed as scheduled.

　　The successful departure of the "Ocean Oil 162" platform could not have been achieved without the strong support and cooperation from the Yantai Maritime Bureau, the pilot station, the barge company, and Zhongji Lafitte.
