The domestic shipping project for large equipment has been successfully completed for foreign trade.

From October 19 to October 25, 2017, the fixed crane (disassembly and assembly parts) was loaded onto a ship at Qingdao Haixi Heavy Machinery and shipped to Yantai Port for unloading onto a domestic trade vessel, then transferred to a foreign trade vessel. The maximum size of a single cargo item: 11.355×9.2×7.516 meters, single item weight 42 tons, total project volume approximately 3200 cubic meters. Due to the large volume and varying sizes of the cargo, a pre-loading arrangement was conducted for all cargo before loading, taking into account weight balance and hold capacity to ensure reasonable placement. During the loading process, the placement and securing of the cargo were supervised throughout according to the pre-loading arrangement, and based on the site conditions, communication with the owner was conducted.

From October 19 to October 25, 2017, the fixed crane (disassembled parts) was loaded onto a ship at Qingdao Haixi Heavy Machinery, shipped by sea to Yantai Port for unloading onto a domestic trade ship, and then transferred to a foreign trade ship. The maximum size of a single piece of cargo: 11.355×9.2×7.516 meters, single piece weight 42 tons, total project volume approximately 3200 cubic meters.

Due to the large volume and varying sizes of the cargo, a pre-loading arrangement was conducted for all cargo before loading, taking into account weight balance and hold capacity to ensure reasonable placement. During the loading process, the placement and securing of the cargo were supervised throughout according to the pre-loading arrangement, and after communicating with the owner based on the site conditions, a small part of the loading plan was temporarily adjusted to ensure transportation safety. After about 10 days, all cargo was successfully delivered to berth 53 at Yantai Port, and the project was completed.

Through this sea transportation project, detailed written documentation was provided for the loading and securing plans of bulk cargo ships, which received positive feedback from the owner. In future similar projects, better control will be achieved over the entire process of land transportation plans, pre-loading arrangements, and on-site supervision.
