Guoxuan Platform Weihai - Yangjiang Towing News Release
Due to our company's good service and reputation, the Guoxuan platform completed a 3-month maintenance and renovation at Weihai Jinling Shipyard. Our company was again entrusted by China Electric Power Construction Group Guizhou Engineering Co., Ltd. On August 15, 2021, the "Beihai Jiu 112" towed the "Guoxuan platform" from Weihai Jinling Shipyard to Yangjiang Port in Guangdong for wind power operations. This time, our company acted as the general agent for towing, responsible for maritime review, CCS suitability inspection, pilotage, arrangement of main and auxiliary tugboats, and port towing arrangements. We were responsible for handling the customs clearance and inspection procedures for the Guoxuan platform's departure from Weihai and the entry procedures for Yangjiang Port, as well as the supply of materials for the Guoxuan platform's departure. This towing distance reached 1411 nautical miles, with a planned towing time of 15 days, making it our company's longest-distance towing project in recent years. The platform successfully arrived at the anchorage of Yangjiang Port on September 2, completing this towing task successfully.
