The trial voyage and port agency work of the "Blue Whale I" platform have been successfully completed.

　　On February 15, 2017, the world's most advanced ultra-deepwater dual-drill semi-submersible drilling platform "Blue Whale No. 1", built by China International Marine Containers (CIMC) Raffles Offshore Engineering Co., Ltd., was delivered from the shipyard dock to the Guangzhou Geological Bureau and China National Petroleum Corporation Offshore Oilfield Services Company, and set sail for the South China Sea to engage in research exploration projects. Our company, as an excellent qualified subcontractor of Raffles Offshore Engineering, provided comprehensive ship agency and project agency services during the entire process of the "Blue Whale I" drilling platform's departure, DIST debugging, return to anchor, anchorage rectification docking, and departure from Yantai, after thorough preparation, a complete technical plan, and a professional team capability. This project is the first "turnkey" project in the ultra-deepwater field of marine engineering by Chinese shipbuilding enterprises. It is the first of its kind, with many operational steps including debugging, entry and exit from the port, anchorage docking adjustments, etc., making the process complex; there are many related parties involved by the client, including bluewhale, Kongsberg, CPOE, Guangzhou Geological Bureau, etc.; the platform personnel have diverse nationalities, frequent personnel movements, and multiple affiliations, adding to the complexity; there are many urgent and unexpected situations; the types of materials and supplies are highly specialized and cover a wide range; during the project operation, our company organized a professional team, strictly requiring timeliness, professionalism, and focus, to coordinate the work with customs, border defense, health inspection, and maritime departments. We completed the procedures for tug traffic, customs clearance and transportation of materials and supplies, fuel and fresh water supply, debugging, entry and exit from the port, and all entrusted matters such as emergency medical assistance for sick crew members by helicopter and foreign affairs handling for shipowner visas.
