CoslPromoter project agency, port departure vessel agency, and material supply services

　　On May 15, 2012, at the CIMC Raffles outfitting dock, the weather was calm and the sun was warm. The third deep-water semi-submersible drilling platform, COSLPROMOTER, built by CIMC Raffles for CNOOC Services Europe, successfully departed for Norway. Following the CoslPioneer and CoslInnovator, Yantai Xinyun once again successfully completed its project, ship agency, and material supply services. At 8:28 AM, the COSLPROMOTER deep-water semi-submersible drilling platform was slowly towed away from the dock by four tugboats. Equipped with six thrusters, COSLPROMOTER will untie from the tugboats after being towed to the anchorage and will sail alone to Norway, passing through the Pacific Ocean, Indian Ocean, and Atlantic Ocean, refueling in places like Singapore and Port Elizabeth, South Africa. The platform carries 100 crew members and staff from countries including Norway, India, and the Philippines. This voyage is long, covering over 15,000 nautical miles, and is scheduled to take more than two months to reach OELENSVAG port.
