Large Equipment Sea and Land Intermodal Transport Project

On November 28, 2016, our company was entrusted by the client to ship goods from Dalian to Tianjin via domestic sea transport, and then directly transported by land to Langfang, Hebei. This transportation project involved a total of 9 pieces of cargo, of which 5 were large equipment, with the largest piece measuring 9.2*9.2*3.6 (meters), and the other four pieces were large cargo with a diameter of 8.8*8.8 (meters). Due to the special size of the cargo, before the land transport began, our company selected the most suitable transportation route after eight exploratory trips, ensuring the safe delivery of all goods to their destination.   1. I. Loading Operations

At the client's request, our vessel docked at the designated loading terminal on time. Based on the size of the cargo, our company used a 700-ton deck barge for maritime transport. During loading, two of our 100-ton truck cranes operated simultaneously to ensure the safety of the cargo:

  II. Reconnaissance Work

Due to the special size of the cargo, transportation could only be conducted at night. To ensure the safety of the cargo, our company selected the most suitable route for transportation after eight reconnaissance trips. This route is approximately 140 kilometers long and needs to be transported over two nights:

  III. Unloading Operations

Our vessel docked at Tianjin Port at 11:30 PM. To ensure the client's receiving time, at our request, the terminal worked overnight under safe conditions, completing the unloading by 7 AM the next day, preparing for transportation:

  IV. Transportation Supervision

With careful measurement and calculation before transportation, the cargo safely passed through each height-restricted bridge and width-restricted road. During transportation, we had a full escort vehicle, and our fleet opened the way and blocked roads along the route, ensuring that all large equipment safely arrived at the designated receiving site.
